Parents and toddlers
During term time, the Church runs a parents and toddlers group for children from both to four years. This is held in the Church every Thursday from 9.30am until 11am. There are a range of toys for the children to play whilst the parents enjoy some social time. Tea and toast is served for the children - £1 per family. Community Meals
At Bethany, we believe in supporting the old and helping the poor, whilst supporting the community we live in. The Church provides a hot meal, which is served at 12.15 am, twice a week for those on their own. We provide a mini bus for those who are unable to get to the meals on their own. By providing this service we aim to create a loving atmosphere whilst sharing the love of Christ. Each meal costs £2.
The Friendship Club
A small, but friendly and supportive group meets at the Church on a Tuesday morning at 10 am during school term time. The group begins by sharing a drink and exchanging news. This is followed by a short worship time, a Bible study and prayer. The Bible study takes us systematically, week by week, through a passage of Scripture. Everyone is encouraged to share their perspective on the passage which leads to vibrant discussion. Visitors are always made welcome.
